Robyn grew up in the Grand Rapids area and spent summers on Mackinac Island, where her sense of adventure and free spirit blossomed. Robyn earned both her bachelors and masters degrees at Aquinas College. She is an educator, certified to teach secondary English and art, k-12 English Language Learners, and educators at the college level. 
After 20 years of teaching and landscaping/gardening for clients, Robyn decided to transition into work that shifts her focus to nature, science, and conservation. 
Robyn is passionate about educating others in composting, recycling and the small things that people can do to make a big impact. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, making art, paddle boarding, fishing, and hiking with her family, friends, and fur babies.
