The Antrim Conservation District has entered the NexTrex plastic film recycling challenge starting September of 2023 and ending February of 2024. The goal of this challenge is to collect 500+ pounds of plastic film, the equivalent of 40,500 plastic bags, over this six month period. The ACD will be collecting from Antrim County schools, township halls and at the ACD office building. Two drop off bins will be available for this challenge, one on the front porch of the ACD and another at _______________. Each month our staff will weigh the plastic collected and deliver the collected film to our local SpartanNash or Meijer grocery stores, where they collect films for NexTrex year round.
