Emma is the Michigan Healthy Climate Corps member serving at Antrim Conservation District as the Michigan Green Communities Coordinator. She is excited to share her passion for green infrastructure and native plants. Emma grew up in Northern Michigan and went on to study Natural Resource Management and Biology at Grand Valley State University (GVSU). During her time at GVSU she served as president of the university chapter of Soil and Water Conservation Society. Emma spent the summer of 2021 as a land management fellow at Pierce Cedar Creek, where she refined her plant ID and installation skills. Throughout her travels for school and backpacking her heart has remained in Northern Michigan. She hopes to support the communities that she grew up in become more resilient through sustainability.
