Introduction to Food Plots

The first Food Plot workshop in a series that ACD will be hosting over the next year. Come learn the basics of preparing for a food plot including topics such as soil testing, choosing seed, fertilizer, lime, food plot locations, purposes of different food plots, and types of seeding.  Ashley Autenrieth, Deer Program Biologist from the MI DNR, will also do a short talk on the baiting ban and answer any questions you may have.

Residing in Clare, MI, Kasey Thren of Complete Deer Management has over 10 years of professional experience installing food plots. He has education in Quality Deer Management, wildlife, forestry, and wildland fire. He also produces an online video series called "Landscaping for Whitetails."
