Tree Pruning Workshop January 15th, 2:00pm at ACD Office (4820 Stover Rd. in Bellaire)
Ever wondered if pruning a tree is a science or an art? Well, it's a bit of BOTH! Join us on January 15th for a hands-on tree pruning workshop lead by the Antrim & Kalkaska Conservation Districts. We'll take time to learn the 'science' of trees & terminology at the Antrim CD office before taking a walk to practice the 'art' of pruning at the Cedar River Natural Area in Bellaire, MI.
This workshop is $5. Pre-registration required & limited to 20 people. Light refreshments will be provided. Please dress for the weather. Pruners & lopers will be available to borrow, but attendees should bring a favorite pair if you have them.
Register today by filling out the form to the right, or by calling ACD Staffer McKenzie at (231)533-8363 x4, or KCD Staffer Renee at (231)258-3307. Payment can be done online by clicking the button below, or brought the day-of.
